I looked down at the pictures first and was struck by the great illustration on White Water and then saw it was Shadra Strickland - no wonder! LOL The Storm Called Katrina illustrator looks good too. And of course the Neri book has the fabulous Jesse Watson doing the pictures. Seriously the illustrator is so important in kids books! I just got one to review I can hardly stand to open because the picture on the cover is so bad!
