It seems like a really great company. I see the character as black. I just finished re-reading The Bearskinner by Schlitz. I will add this to my TBR list.Vasillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08463689838763126048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482156857828868888.post-4235961348903113042010-01-27T00:17:57.673-05:002010-01-27T00:17:57.673-05:00Thanks for the feedback everyone.

And unlike Mardel, I really thought the page 4 picture was pretty dark, not unlike, say, the Liar cover model. In any case, Flory isn't a simpering pink-and-white fairy and I think all girls will enjoy her.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11690852339559706714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6482156857828868888.post-62636567480996168932010-01-26T09:08:50.658-05:002010-01-26T09:08:50.658-05:00The illustrations look gorgeous, but I too don'...The illustrations look gorgeous, but I too don't see her as black. I think of them as separate. But from the first picture (cover) the silouette looks like she could be a poc (it's the curls). But the picture on page four looks straight up european, scottish, english type.

Sorry, that's what it looks like to me.Mardelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00063358136590143066noreply@blogger.com
